With the Lord's help I am going to share my story.

Where do I begin? It all started about a year and a half ago. I ended up having to quit my job as it was extremely stressful for me as I did accounts payable and the company I had worked with put me in a financial analyst job. Well my sweet husband who was concerned had me evaluated and I was dx with severe depression. I was Immediately placed on Seroquel  as I have been on other medications for depression and they would work for awhile and then stop working and I could tell a difference with the seroquel after a few weeks being on it and it also helps me sleep at night. I had a Pdoc(psychiatrist) that was a little further away from our home and do to some cirumstances we felt compelled to find one closer to where we live. So we tried one in the area that we live. Well he took me off seroquel and placed me on geodon and I could immediately tell that stuff made me restless and very very agitated. Well I knew it wasnt working and so I went back on the Seroquel and I started to tell a difference, but because of the mix up with the medication  I ended having my husband take me to the hospital and while there they found an infection in my body and my heart rate was beating 145 beats a minute. So they gave me an antibiotic for the infection and an ativan to help with the anxiety. I had my husband call the Pastor and I began to Pray. I prayed for the heart rate to go down to normal. The next morning Tuesday the Pdoc from the hospital came down to see me. I was feeling alot better and they adjusted my medicine and that seems to be helping alot. On Wed I went to see my GP and my heart rate was down to 96 beats per minute. My God is a Healer. Yes I have Depression but God can heal that to. I will continue to Pray that he will heal me, if he chooses not to I will not allow something that is negative in my life I will turn it around and make something Positive out of it.
If you know someone that has severe depression or Bipolar make sure they get checked out take there Meds and do Therapy and support group. Let me say this. I am very leary about the Therapists and Psychiatrists out there . When looking for them use wisdom. I have a very good Christian Counselor. I have recently gone to Once a month counseling. My next goal is to go only as needed . God really has been doing a work in my life and I give him all the Glory!! The Bible says out of a Multitude of Counselors there is Safety if you need professional help use Caution. Be very very careful when choosing a counselor and a psychiatrist. They can do more harm then good at times.  I do know the Ultimate Counselor Jesus Christ and he is the Ultimate Doctor as well.
